Got lucky.
15 minutes before my 6pm test (note: it’s Daylight Savings here). Was on my way to my test room, when I remembered the Hakka Tung festival back at grand mum’s hometown. Just happened to be passing by this tree mdash; and so the spring blossoms’ beckoning turned out to be irresistible. I squandered what time [read:hope] I had left for studying on clearing away the oxide filiform layer that was on my camera sheath.
i think this is awesome because its semiotics effectively illustrate, by superimposing the image of a something that destroys creation onto as something that is the epitome of sub-divine creation, that there may still be hope in humanity — sort of like an image of a tank wreathed in garlands of flowers; but minus the inklings of remorse, grief, and stoic opposition towards war.
