You'll learn that absence is to love, as wind is to fire mdash; extinguishes the small, nourishes the light inside.

Attended Ban Ki Moon’s lecture at uni yesterday (Tuesday the 6th). It’s funny how I had always gripe about political figures who don’t have a clean English accent. I know that I won’t do from now onwards. Even if I came late and therefore only listened to a “live” version of his talk on one of the Case Room projector screens, I was no less inspired than the few fortunate (government and university administration higher ups who got to be in the same room as him). I’m definitely working for the UN when I graduate.
